Carlow University is committed to providing valuable services to our military population and their families in order to create an environment where these deserving men and women can optimize their learning experience. The Military Student and Family Resource Team offers resources and tools to help our students reach their full potential and continue to serve as ethical leaders as they have already done by serving their country.
PURPOSE OF THE MILITARY STUDENT AND FAMILY RESOURCE TEAM
The team will serve as a resource network and primary information center for our eligible military student population and their families. Representatives from various departments will make up this team which provides a broad range of specialized services to our military population and their families.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE MILITARY STUDENT AND FAMILY RESOURCE TEAM
- To promote the Carlow University mission and vision by helping our eligible military student population and their families obtain the university resources and support services they need and/or desire.
- To assist our military student population and their families with the various federal or state regulations associated with military benefits.
- To provide resources, referrals, and consultation to departments and other offices related to serving the special needs of our eligible military student population and their families.
- To coordinate and sponsor activities and events on campus to recognize and celebrate military personnel and their contributions.
